Tension range 50 to 59 lbs.
A true friend of the base-liner. Built for speed, power and spin. The Pure Aero Tour racquet(the heaviest of the Aero line) features FSI Technology, which employs increased spacing between the crosses. Having the gaps between the cross strings enlarged increases spin like almost no other racquet. Babolat has also added wider grommet holes for increased dampening and string "snap-back". As with all racquets snap-back of the strings is what can help add top-spin to your game. The higher the ball's rpm's the more spin, and therefore the more lift and ball drop, is achieved. Nadal, with the Pure Aero, has the highest ball rpm on tour.
At 100 sq. in., the Pure Aero Tour also comes with great power. The baseline player will find great comfort knowing this racquet will allow them to hit deeper shots consistently. Coupling this power with the racquets spin is a winning combination as many top professionals consistently prove on tour. If you are looking to add spin to your game, the Pure Aero Tour is an excellent choice.
