The Wilson Clash 100 tennis racquet is a revolutionary racquet in multiple respects. The Clash came about thanks to “3 different ideas that didn’t work on their own” that were blended together into one racquet. Wilson has introduced two new technologies with the Clash - StableSmart and Freeflex powered by Carbon Mapping. It is by using these technologies that Wilson created both a stable and flexible racquet frame. The Wilson Clash 100 is the most flexible frame on the market today(51 on the Babolat Racquet Diagnostic Center). The Clash 100 is also as stable as any other frame in the tennis industry(3.9 degrees torsional stability).
Wilson has engineered StableSmart technology into the Clash 100 giving it extreme stability and feel, even with a relatively thin beamed frame(24 mm). The only other frames that are more flexible than the Clash line would be the wooden racquets of old. The flexibility of the frame gives it excellent feel and touch thanks to its superb ball-pocketing. FreeFlex, which is powered by carbon mapping, allows the Clash 100's frame to bend and react to the ball in all new ways allowing for better ball feel and ball pocketing.
With a highly accessible strung weight of 10.9 ounces strung(309 grams) and a strung swing weight of 290, the Clash 100 is engineered to bring a new era of flexibility, feel and stability to the masses. The Clash 100 is a great option for beginners and intermediate level players looking for arm-friendliness, deeper ball pocketing, precision and stability. At 7 points head light(strung) the Clash 100 is whippy without having the hollow feeling that plagues so many other racquets on the market today. This lightweight player's frame doesn't have the plow-through of it's heavier brother, the Clash 100 Tour, but its speed allows for quick hands at net, slices and a generally fast all-court experience.
Note: The Clash line feels very different than any other racquet ever created. That being said, it is important to view its specs with some perspective. The reason that Wilson invested in a Clash Tour Demo event across the country(which we were a part of) is to get the Clash into tennis players' hands. They believe, as we do, that the best way to understand the racquets original blend of flexibility, stability and feel is to put it through the ringer!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been this excited about a racquet. Absolutely love the feel of the demo — just like my Jack Kramer Autograph. Goodbye Pro Staffs — hello CLASH.
