Tennis Balls got their start in lawn tennis in the 1850's. Originally tennis balls were made solely of rubber. The ball was modified quickly from their to include not only pressurization, but a cloth covering for improved feel. The tennis ball continued to advance in technology, durability and playability.

Today we have the luxury of highly pressurized, long-lasting and comfortable tennis balls from the names of Penn, Wilson, Babolat, Dunlop and many more.
